South Gili dive sites, such as "The Lighthouse" or "Stairs to Medang" offer pristine reefs, and are popular with trevallies, barracudas and white tip reef sharks. On the other hand, dive sites like Gili Renggit are made up of massive soft coral growth and are a paradise for macro photographers. The great variety of dive sites will become obvious when taking a dive at Batu Gendang or Batu Mandi where you experience a landscape of boulders covered with massive corals and you are surrounded by sweet lips, napoleon fish, rays and much more.
